To enable buyers and participants to grasp first hand European fashion trends and bring inspirations and international elements to the industry, China Shoes will exclusively broadcast the latest live video of GDS 2011 Spring Release Fashion Show, with topics including «Upper Style – Wanderlust», «Follow the Trend», «Wellness — Easy to Go», «Shoes in Wonderland — Urban Fashion and Kids.»
China Shoes is recognized as the designated base of International Trend Releases in China, with the overwhelming response of Trend Releases in last 2 editions. Cesare Baroli 1947, the 1st customized Italian footwear brand in China has invited its third generation successor of the Baroli family ERMANNO ORSINA to make his presence and introduce how to tailor-make Italian shoes for Chinese customers at the exhibition. Japanese fashion, men’s casual style brand Billet will also make its first debut in China through China Shoes. Billete is headquartered in Tokyo and recruiting franchisees and exploring business opportunities. China Shoes also attracted other renowned overseas exhibitors like Haflinger from Germany, Tatuaggi from Portugal. Busan Footwear Industrial Promotion Center (BFIPC) will so bring the winning shoe products and designs of the Korea Functional Shoes Competition to China Shoes.
Lifting of Anti-dumping Duties Facilitates Surge in Buyer Pre-registrations
The lifting of anti-dumping duties of 16.5% on Chinese footwear by European Union from 1 April 2011 stimulates the industry with optimism. With this favorable market news and diversified promotion campaigns, China Shoes gains positive response from footwear brands, trader, chain stores, foreign procurement agencies, department stores of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Korea and Europe. The pre-registration has shown a 40% growth over the same period of the last edition. Pre-registered overseas buyers include Adidas, Aeon Collection Inc, Bauhause, Belle, H&M, Coach, Jillscott, Anaconda Shoes, 株式会社アペックスand株式会社ベル(Japan), etc. Furthermore, Chinese and Hong Kong renowned enterprises have also confirmed their attendance, including Daphne, MOA (Shanghai branch)、Marchiori、Better-Life Commercial Chain Co. Ltd、Trust Mart、TESCO、Paramont、Walker Shop、Li Ning、Martinelli、Metersbonwe、Wal-Mart、Saturday、Kappa、Betastar、Giordano, etc.

Organizers introduce diversified buyers services in this edition. To provide convenience to buyers, shuttle bus service is arranged to travel between Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Dongguan (pass by major hotels in Dongguan) to the exhibition hall.
